Cruise Shipping Miami, the international exhibition and conference serving the cruise industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marilyn McHugh, as portfolio director.
McHugh will report to Michael Kazakoff, vice president, and will be responsible for the development and growth of the Cruise Shipping brands in the global marketplace. She will be actively involved with accelerating the expansion of the CSM portfolio of products including, Cruise Shipping Miami, held each March in Miami Beach and Seatrade Med, the Mediterranean biennial cruise event. In addition, she will develop markets in the Digital Products portfolio and strategize for the launch of new events in the cruise industry.
McHugh is an accomplished marketer with more than 25+ years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Prior to joining UBM International Media she was vice president of global sales communications and systems for Wyndham Hotel Group. In her role with Wyndham Hotel Group she executed global business-to-business marketing strategies through various disciplines and was responsible for sales communications and development, B2B advertising, and global trade shows Sales Operations.
Cruise Shipping Miami is the cruise industry's most important event and includes a four-day conference and three-day tradeshow. Cruise Shipping Miami will be held on March 15-18, 2010 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, located in Miami Beach, Florida USA.
