Kids Cruise Free in 2008 Aboard Majestic America Line |
|
Families can discover the magic of America together aboard three unforgettable river cruise ships |
Majestic America Line, one of the world's premier river cruise lines and the largest river and coastal cruising company in America, is offering families a special opportunity to experience America at its best by inviting children 12 years of age or under to cruise free aboard Empress of the North, Queen of the West or American Queen in 2008. Children cruise free when traveling as the third or fourth passenger, sharing a stateroom with two paying adults.
Cruise rates are waved for children when they share a comfortable stateroom with adults outfitted for three or four guests, but port charges, handling fees and fuel surcharge apply for each child and the offer is not combinable with other offers. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to book early.
Families can create life-long memories following in the footsteps of America's earliest and bravest pioneers in Alaska, on the Columbia and Snake rivers and on the Mississippi River.
Empress of the North visits Alaska's most colorful ports of call from May through mid-September, including Juneau and nearby Mendenhall Glacier, Sitka, Skagway and Petersburg. The cruise also transits Peril Strait, the 22-mile-long Wrangell Narrows and Lynn Canal, North America's longest glacial fjord. The 12-night cruise from Seattle to Juneau on April 28 and Juneau to Seattle on September 20, include the same stops as the seven-night itinerary along with additional ports of call in Anacortes, Port Angeles and Ketchikan.
On the Columbia and Snake rivers, Empress of the North cruises March 22 through mid-April and October through December and Queen of the West cruises April 6 through mid-November. The roundtrip Portland cruises offer guests the opportunity to view deep gorges, transit eight impressive lock and dam systems and feel history unfold over the course of 1,000 miles. The itinerary features Native American hunting grounds, Lewis and Clark-era forts, steep-sided canyons and golden fields of wheat.
American Queen's Lower Mississippi itineraries include seven-night New Orleans roundtrips and seven-night cruises between Memphis and New Orleans, where guests can immerse themselves in the nostalgia of the Old South. Step in the footsteps of early explorers and native tribes on seven-night cruises between St. Paul and St. Louis on the Upper Mississippi. Special theme cruises include Music of America, Fall Foliage and Cajun Holidays.
Staterooms and suites aboard all of Majestic America Line's ships feature the comfort and luxury of a boutique hotel. Designed to be a sanctuary for guests, deluxe bedding, feathery duvets, plump pillows and spa-quality bath amenities make it easy for guests to relax and enjoy the view.
Each journey aboard a Majestic America Line cruise promises an extraordinary American experience, with award-winning hospitality, wonderful enrichment programs and warm, attentive service from an American crew.
