Travel industry shaken by economic downturn
Airlines reported sharp declines in passenger traffic for September. Hotel occupancy rates are down, and corporate travel managers are demanding new concessions on previously negotiated deals. Cancellations are starting to rise even at four- and five-star hotels, which previously seemed immune to the economy's travails.

Passenger Rights Legislation - Not now - Not this way
Many in the passenger rights movement believe there should be legislation that dictates that if a plane is on the tarmac for 3 hours and the pilot does not believe they will take off within 30 minutes, the airline must allow anyone off the plane who wants off the plane.

NBTA Accepting Nominations for First Corporate Social Responsibility Awards
